• Voluntary opening action of thumb, indexfinger and middle finger operated against spiral spring force.

• High strength aluminium alloy mechanism covered by soft PVC Inner Glove.

• Available in two sizes; small and large for child & adult respectively.

b) Cosmetic Glove.

• Marketed in two sizes to suit mechanical hand.

• Enhances aesthetic appearance of inner glove - mechanical hand assembly when stretched over it.

• Available in three different shades to match patient's skin colour for better psychological satisfaction & cosmesis.

d) Hook Voluntary Opening (Lined)

• High Grade, corrosion resistant stainless steel or

• Brass casting.

WRIST UNITS

WRIST UNITS

Two types of wrist units are manufactured, each in two sizes.

1. Wrist Quick Disconnect

2. Wrist Friction Nylon.

With wrist quick disconnect, an attachment plate is neccessary, The terminal device is screwed into the attachment plate which is simply pressed into the wrist quick disconnect and held in any rotary position. Operating a spring loaded knob reeleases the plate attachment and permits quick change to another device.

In Wrist Friction Nylon, the terminal device is directly screwed into wrist body. Passive Friction is adjustable.

ELBOW UNIT

Presently only internal Elbow Unit (Unit Elbow Mechanical Lock) is manufactured by ALIMCO.

Recommended for short and standard Above Elbow amputation cases.

• Permits flexion up to 135 with positive locking in  10 different positions.

• Supplied with actuating cable with loop termination for attachment with harness.

• Common for Right and Left.

• Available in two sizes (child & adult).

• Supplied with standard marketed kits.

SHOULDER UNIT

SHOULDER UNIT

Two types of shoulder joints are manufactured :

1. Joint Shoulder Bulk Head

2. Joint Shoulder Universal

Bulk Head Type Joint permits only flexion, extension at shoulder.

Universal Joint can permit in addition to flexion & extension, passive abduction and adduction. All movements are passively achieved.

Ready-made Control Cable systems for both, Below Elbow and Above Elbow prosthetic fitting for operation of elbow joint and terminal device are marketed independently.

Supplied with prefabricated metallic components with special attachments for hook and hand functional systems. Easy for quick changeover of terminal devices.

Special grade monofilament nylon cable, ensures trouble free and reliable services for a long period.

HARNESS

HARNESS

Below Elbow' and 'Above Elbow' Harness provide appropriate suspension for Below Elbow and Above Elbow prostheses respectively.

• Made out of strong and durable webbing material with buckles for adjustment to ensure proper fitting.

• It is washable.

• To obtain maximum efficiency in functioning, the harness kit must be used with corresponding control cable system.
